Two Integration Approaches

Trulience offers flexibility in how you build conversational avatar experiences:

Trulience Platform - Our complete, managed solution where you configure Speech-to-Text, Large Language Models, and Text-to-Speech providers through the Trulience dashboard. This approach gives you:

• Full end-to-end conversational pipeline managed by Trulience
• Access to leading STT, LLM, and TTS providers
• Built-in knowledge base, function calling, and avatar memory
• Quick setup with no custom code required for the conversation layer

External Platforms - Integration with third-party agent platforms (such as VAPI, ElevenLabs Conversational AI, or Agora’s TEN framework) that manage their own voice and conversation pipeline. In this approach:

• The external platform handles STT, LLM, and TTS (or voice-to-voice)
• Trulience provides the avatar visuals and lip-sync to the platform’s audio
• You gain the flexibility to use specialized agent platforms while maintaining Trulience’s visual experience
• Ideal for teams already invested in a particular agent platform

Technical Resources

The easiest way to integrate a Trulience avatar into your website or app is using the iFrame embed code that you can copy and paste from the dashboard. For developers wanting more control over integration, we recommend checking out our SDK and/or React docs.

We also support interfacing with a custom REST Endpoint to give you greater control over avatar responses by allowing custom LLM integrations, custom RAG and function calling, memory management solutions and more.
